We are excited to announce we are planning our 4th annual Open Farm Day again in 2024! It will be from 9a – 2p on May 11, 2024. We had such a great turnout the last 3 years we want to do it again!
We will have a self guided tour around our farm to see all our animals. This will be much larger than one of our typical petting zoos when we are at events because you will get to see ALL the animals.
You will be able to go in with the baby goats and baby lambs. I hope you’re not scared of birds because the chickens and turkeys will probably follow you around, especially if you have feed in your hand. (for those who are scared you can avoid this area). You will also get to feed and pet the larger animals over the lowered fences.
Admission will be free, donations appreciated . Feed will be for sale in a couple different spots around the farm.
I will have some fun games setup for the kids to play.
We will have Wagon Rides and Barrel Train Rides for a small fee. (weather permitting)
The Chadwick Lions club will be selling food and drinks. Ruby’s Coffee Coach will be here in the morning!
We will have some craft vendors setup. If you are interested in setting up a space please let me know, whether it be crafts or something else you may sell.
We do have a working restroom on site to wash up after petting the animals. Since it was busy last year we do plan to also have a couple porta pots and hand washing station available.
